The Mid-Atlantic Overland Festival is a celebration and gathering of adventurers who want to share their stories, experiences, and overland travel knowledge with like-minded individuals. The festival is family friendly, and should offer something for everyone looking to expand their adventure travel horizons.
The festival will feature talks and seminars on important considerations for safe, fun and well prepared overland travel. *The final seminar schedule will be released as we get closer to the event.**Rain or Shine**

Overland Experts (OEX) will be providing on-site training and demos at the 2014 Mid-Atlantic Overland Festival. OEX applies the scientific method to off-road driving, teaching people they can drive simple to impossible “roads” without ruining their vehicles, themselves, others, or the environment. We are very excited to have them on board as they will provide yet another dynamic element to the event!
The Mid-Atlantic Overland Festival is also a forum for adventurers to tell their stories, show their videos and share their excitement for overland travel.
In order to sweeten the pot and make things a little more fun, we are going to take a film festival approach at the event.
Festival attendees will vote on their favorite selection and prizes will be awarded to the top 3.
Format/Rules:
- In order to get a better number of participants involved, we are limiting the video lengths to 10 minutes followed-up by say 5-10 min of Q&A
- Videos must be submitted for review by July 1st to be included in the event
- Keep in mind this is a family friendly event, so submissions will be reviewed for inclusion accordingly
- Limited to one submission per attendee
- You need to ownership rights/have played a roll in the filming and/or editing of the video, we know how much hard work is put into these short films, and we want to reward that effort
- Have fun with this and let everyone experience some of your more memorable adventures
